One of best concerts I have been to. Not just because of Peter Hook but the venue is fantastic. Be Never been to History. Great acoustics. Not too big but big enough. Air conditioned!
All the hits. Very nicely executed. Peter Hook and the Light were having fun, and the crowd was as well.
If you have tickets for a Peter Hook & the Light show, you are in for a special night full of nostalgia and great music. Peter Hook is so passionate about the songs, and the connection he has with the audience as he is playing them is indescribable. Truly an unforgettable night and I feel grateful that I was able to experience it.
Excellent as always! Can’t wait to see them when they are back in Toronto next year!
First time at History (general admission). Soulless venue. Terrible sound and sightlines (flat floor, low stage). Peter’s bass and vox totally lost in the mix. So disappointing for a pretty decent performance
Once again 3 hours of New Order and Joy Division. High energy and total fun! Danced the whole time!! He’s fantastic !!
It was one of the best. To hear this music live is unbelievable. They played it perfectly. Better than the albums . Once in a lifetime experience.
A fantastic evening of Joy Division classics - with a sprinkling of New Order favorites. Peter and his band are sharp and tight - and play with a driving enthusiasm and joy. His live version of 'Love Will Tell Us Apart" is one of the best live music experiences that you could possibly imagine. Would go again whenever he decides to revisit Vancouver.

Third time seeing Hooky and he was excellent again. The Commodore is one of Vancouver’s best venues and he sounded amazing. See you next time Hooky!
As a big fan of Joy Division this show left no second guessing as to “should I go?” Therefore I booked my flight and went to see the spectacle in a legendary venue, vss asncouvers Commodore Ballroom. Talk about intimate! This was a dream come true from the first notes of the New Order set till the last refrains of Love Will Tear Us Apart. This show was everything and more for me! I felt like a young punk rocker again when they surprisingly ripped into their first ever single “Warsaw” the energy, the ambiance, the songs all done with great attention to the details my favourite standouts were “Heart and Soul”, “Decades”, “She’s Lost Control” and “Shadowplay”… I can’t get enough of all of their stuff I’ve been listening to it for the last two days ! Best I’ve seen in a small venue in a long time !!!
Peter Hook performed his sets as if I were seeing the original New Order, and Joy Division, an experience I never thought I'd see in my lifetime. The band was tight and performed with a small amount of freedom to improvise, but kept to the original as close as possible.
When Peter Hook comes around, just go bloody see him. Hardest working bass player on the planet.

Super hot in Danforth Music Hall Terribly distorted sound Light show way too dark , could see band hardly Peter Hook should spend a few bucks and higher a vocalist, he can play bass what he does best Never played arguably the Biggest New Order song Blue Monday I rate it 6 out of 10
The concert was great. Peter Hook and his band were vibrant and sounded great, although lead vocals could have had greater volume. However I missed the first few songs. Every event should display when the band is estimated to take the stage. So many times you stand and wait for up to two hours in a somewhat uncomfortable environment (i.e. hot) for the opener to take the stage.
Hooky always pours love into his shows and gives the audience their moneys worth plays for three hours.
Without Hooky’s great efforts to tour we would never be able to experience classic Joy Division live…. Keep it up Hooky!
Peter Hook and the Light at Danforth Music Hall was a great show. Hooky never disappoints. Venue was packed...could use a bit more ventilation, to be honest.
