Fanastic dancing- wonderfully fast moving eveing with all of your favourites from season 5. To actually see them up close is amazing. Twelve people who make an art that is so diificult seem so real. Every fan should go to this.

I thought this event was pretty good. The dancers were great to see in person. However, it was quite loud, and there was a lot of talking and watching videos. It would have been a little shorter had they taken out some of the videos. And I liked that they brought out the Canadian contestants from the Canadian version of the show. However, they came out, for maybe a minute, and didn't speak!!! To me, there was not really a point to bringing them out if they didn't at least introduce themselves and do a little dance like the US contestants did at the beginning of the show.

  • SYTYCD Great Fun!!!!

If you are a fan of the show, this performance was great fun. Well thought out to showcase everyone's strengths sprinkled with great chuckles - lol the Russian Folk dance. Great that that dance was such a mistake on the show and such great routine and laughs during the tour. Would come and see another show anytime.

Excellent. We really enjoyed seeing the dancers and so many of the memorable routines plus some new ones. Only complaint - the sound was way too loud. Overall - a very enjoyable evening.

  • Dancers Good but not Great

    by Silver49 on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The 2009 So You Think You Can Dance Tour lacked sparkle. Although the dancers were competent throughout, most of the dances lacked the zing that they had on TV. Unfortunately this was hightlighted in some cases by clips of the original performances being shown on the video screen. Some of the performers shone more in their solos, particularly Brandon, which were too short.

  • SYTYCD show was fun

by Mirs on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The show was a lot of fun. A bit too much talking in between dances...but the dancing was great. I would get rid of all the "highlights from the season" that was on video and just show us the live stuff. That's what we're there for!

  • SYTYCD - dancing kept it good

by Roew on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

I am a big fan of the dancing on SYTYCD, but I'm no 12 year-old groupie, which is maybe why last night's show felt a little lacking. The dancing held up to my expectation, at least what I could see from my seat (which felt kilometers away from the stage). The sound was incredibly loud, so loud that it was distorted during numerous songs and I wished I had earplugs! Also, the interludes scripted for the cast were really cheesy and badly done. Perhaps they would have been ok if the dancers hadn't shouted into the mic (already set too loud), and hadn't put on voices that reminded me of the kid actors on Barney. Some of the scripted jokes were pretty lame too. Instead of wasting time trying to flesh out the show with dumb jokes, long scripted and badly acted dialogues, TV inserts and plugs for the Dizzy Feet Foundation and the new DVD - bring on more dancing! I would much rather have seen longer solos from each dancer. Their 30 seconds each was really short.

  • SYTYCD was even better this year!

by Faithgirl on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Overall, very entertaining - the dancing and the commentaries.

  • SYTYCD was awesome!

by Hugedancefan on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

It was a great show! Loved how they introduced each dance, it was nice to see the dancers do something other than dance. It did not start on time and as a result we had to leave during the last 5 minutes in order to catch our go train, that's something that they should work on. Also the music was just a little bit too loud. We were high up in level 300 and it echoed just a little too much for us. But the show itself was great!

  • So You Think You Can Dance Tour 2009 was GREAT!

by ImJazzy on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

My daughter, granddaughter and I went to the show! It was amazing. The dancers are the best! The performances were even better live! My only regret was that we didn't have better seats. Row 13 in section 309 is too far from the stage to see the dancers faces. Ade and Melissa are perfection together! I loved the new content as well as our favorites from the show and it was way too cool that the Top Ten from So You Think You Can Dance Canada came on stage! I can't wait for the next tour!!!

  • SYTYCD Tour 2009......Wowww

by ChanFan on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

There was so much more than I expected!! The dancing was amazing obviously, the intro was a little lame but the commentary and the comedy bits were soooooo good.

Thought the show was excellent! Not just the dancing, but also the small sketches from the dancers. They are true performers!

  • SYTYCD WAS INCREDIBLE!

by Nickle on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

If a SYTYCD tour was to ever come back to Canada, I would recommend that you go see it. It is such a rush and the dances are just incredible (I'm sure you know). From dances like the breast cancer one (by Melissa and Ade), or Justin Timberlake's pop one (with Ade and Jeanette). It was an unforgettable experience! A++++!My fave moment was the group dance to Pitbull's song Calle Ocho. When Jeanine jumped on the table and started dancing with the water splashing was incredible. The girls looked amazing, the guys looked amazing. Overall great dance, and great performers!

  • SYTYCD!

by sinainn on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Very entertaining, with a few laughs, but the talking between dances sometimes came off as a little bit cheesy. Overall though, very happy to have seen the show and all of the dances I hoped would be shown.

  • Not Bad

by Sintic on 2009-09-30Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Seeing the dances from Season 5 live was very impressive, however the dances were interspersed with long drawn out recaps and TV clips from the show. Couldn't help at feel like they were trying to kill time at some points in the show. Would have liked to see more dancing at a faster pace. That said, still, made my girlfriend lose her mind and for $60 bucks, pretty solid night out.
