Styx have endured for over five decades while staying true to their progressive rock sound and theatrical live show. Since releasing their self-titled debut in 1972, Styx have sold over 54 million records worldwide between 17 studio albums, 16 compilations and nine live recordings. Notably, the band released four consecutive RIAA-certified multi-platinum albums between 1977’s The Grand Illusion, 1978’s Pieces of Eight, 1979’s Cornerstone and 1981’s Paradise Theatre, the last of which became their first to top the Billboard 200. Across their career, Styx earned eight Top 10 singles on the Hot 100, including the chart-topping “Babe” as well as “Come Sail Away” “Mr. Roboto” and their 1990 comeback single “Show Me the Way.” Despite several hiatuses and lineup changes, Styx have become one of rock’s most consistent touring acts, hosting nearly 100 live shows every year for over two decades and netting career-best earnings on massive co-headlining tours with REO Speedwagon, Foreigner and Def Leppard. In 2021, Styx released their seventeenth studio album, Crash of the Crown.

Loved the set list but they skipped my favorite song “Babe”. Gowan is such a showman! Great first concert since Covid shut things down!
What a great show, highly entertaining even 50 years on after formation of the band. Lawrence Gowan a good addition and what a great venue to listen to music at - bring on more concerts at the Jubilee in Edmonton!
Was flipping awesome. I absolutely loved their energy, lighting, engaging behaviour and the list goes on. Gowan was a ball of energy. Tommy Shaw was in top of his game. Nice to see Chuck Panozzo make an appearance. 10 out of 10 for me. Would go sgain and am so happy I went this time
Nancy Wilson was great along with her vocalist Kimberly and band. Kimberley sure can hit the high notes but I still miss Ann Wilson. As for Styx they were awesome. The energy and enthusiasm were outstanding. Gowen and Shaw brought back many memories of my youth driving the highways of the Praries. True proffesional talent that I would return to see again.
I have been a fan of Styx since i was 12 years old. I have seen them numerous times over the years and they have always been the band that always puts on an amazing show. The show October 13th at The Jubilee in Edmonton was an incredible show. They are that one band that never disappoints. Amazing vocals. Tommy Shaw and Gowan are simply amazing. Just a great show.
This performance was exactly what we were hoping the show would provide Great seats and sound
Been 41 years since I’ve seen Styx and been to 18 concerts this year and this was the best concert!
Thoroughly enjiyed rocking the night away to Styx with my Best Friend from High School... class of 76. It was a great show!!!
It's unfortunate that Nancy Wilson fronted Styx on this tour. It was a tale of performances at the opposite ends of the scale. Although I love HEART and have since their inception, this performance was nothing more then a garage-style cover band who wasn't even prepared to do the set. This performance took away from the very professional presentation of STYX. Their set list was perfect, just enough dialogue with the audience to keep them personable yet incorporated into the music. The music was flawless, harmonies were bang on and crowd riveting. Like any other iconic group, they could have played all night, their repertoire seems endless. Good on them, I wish them continued success in this, their 6th decade!!!
Concert was good. I came into the concert not knowing what to expect, as many older bands can be lazy and not committed to performing well. Nancy Wilson and her co-singer were very good, despite audio mix issues. Styx actually amazed me with the quality of sound, energy on stage, and absolute excellent vocals. I definitely am glad I went to this concert; this was my fist time seeing Styx. Styx was my absolute favorite band when I was in my late teens, and to be finally able to see them live was a check mark on my bucket list. Styx band members were a real treat to watch on stage, as every member of the band put effort and enthusiasm into preforming a concert with energy, style, and excellent vocals and guitar, drums and keyboard magic.
The men of Styx never fail to make the concert an excellent experience.
Thoroughly enjoyed the sound and energy. Gowan filled the role very well. Good setlist choices - really brought me back and also showed me that they're still make good new music. :)
Was a fantastic show, best concert I’ve seen in a long time. Loved it. Was pretty loud though, must be getting old haha
Had a great time at the jubilee last night. First time seeing a concert at the JUB and it sounded great and they put on a heck of a show.
Heart was absolutely horrible. Disorganized, out of tune. Extremely disappointed Styx were quite good. They saved the show
This was my third time seeing them in the last 10 years or so. Best one yet.
Awesome show! Styx still knows how to rock! Tommy Shaw’s vocals were spot on.
Nancy Wilson did not disappoint!! Great guitarist as expected. Styx had the energy of 30 yr olds. Well done Lawrence Gowan!! Go see this show people!
Styx was point on, their vocals have not weakened over the years and they engaged the audience in many songs. Great entertainment!
Styx rocks like the 80s!👍nancy Wilson rocks like she is 80 !👎
