Styx have endured for over five decades while staying true to their progressive rock sound and theatrical live show. Since releasing their self-titled debut in 1972, Styx have sold over 54 million records worldwide between 17 studio albums, 16 compilations and nine live recordings. Notably, the band released four consecutive RIAA-certified multi-platinum albums between 1977’s The Grand Illusion, 1978’s Pieces of Eight, 1979’s Cornerstone and 1981’s Paradise Theatre, the last of which became their first to top the Billboard 200. Across their career, Styx earned eight Top 10 singles on the Hot 100, including the chart-topping “Babe” as well as “Come Sail Away” “Mr. Roboto” and their 1990 comeback single “Show Me the Way.” Despite several hiatuses and lineup changes, Styx have become one of rock’s most consistent touring acts, hosting nearly 100 live shows every year for over two decades and netting career-best earnings on massive co-headlining tours with REO Speedwagon, Foreigner and Def Leppard. In 2021, Styx released their seventeenth studio album, Crash of the Crown.

My 7 year old and I had a blast! Gowan is amazing!
All three bands Loverboy, REO Speedwagon and Styx were phenomenal and played like they did when they were in their prime. I travelled all the way from Calgary, Alberta just to see this show and I was so glad I did. The food and drinks though were ultra expensive.
One of the best concerts!! Bands were great!! Really enjoyed the whole experience
Great concert! We totally enjoyed it. However the drink prices are outrageous and a total gouging! $5 for water wtf!
What an amazing show. After all these years, they still sound the same. The stage presence is also so incredible. I would definitely go and see them again.
The entire show from start to finish was very very good. Although I didn’t get to see most of the opening act of lover boy I saw REO Speedwagon and Styx in their entirety. Most of the more well known songs were performed by both groups, and the crowd were very appreciative. To put in in a few words, this was a great show that I was happy to have attended.
Tommy Shaw and Larry Gowan made the night!! The whole band was fabulous and they put in a great show!
Incredible show, seats were great, weather was awesome. So nice to watch live music without the past restrictions.
Loverboy was an excellent warm up for Styx with fantastic music. REO was not the ideal music to keep the energy going. SYX WAS POWERFUL AND PHENOMINAL
From my point of you this was a great show. Gowan did an awesome job on vocals and keyboards. Only down fall to the show was that it wasn’t long enough.
Loverboy didn’t sing When it’s over or This could be the night arguably two off their best songs. Reo Speedwagon was awesome in every way. Styx you absolutely have to sing Suite Madame Blue and Miss America. Overall was disappointed, Styx seemed like they were rushing to get off stage? I guess there was a time limit for the venue. In a unrelated issue the Toronto Go Train is frigin HELL.
I appreciate when the sound crew is confident enough in their own abilities and the talents of the band that they can have the sound at a reasonable level. Styx was absolutely fantastic. You could hear every word and every note without having the base too loud or the instruments drowning out the vocals. My compliments to the sound crew. The lighting too was excellent as were all members of the band. It was great to hear Criminal Minds as part of the repertoire. Great show in all respects.
Venue was comfortable and Mother Nature did her share by keeping the temperature reasonable. All three bands could have drawn a crowd on their own, so kudos for getting all three on one night. Show staff were visible, as well as medical staff for a few patrons who enjoyed the show too much. Choices of food available were plentiful, especially in the entry food area.
I bought the tickets specifically to REO Speedwagon didn't really care about Loverboy And only had mediocre feelings about Styx Boy has my mind been changed 1st off still don't care about Loverboy But I thought REO only gave a mediocre performance probably due to their set set choice, it kind of fell flat and I felt I'd wasted my money Then comes Styx with Lawrence Gowan who I never really cared for in the 1st place But WOW, Gowan stole the show, he made the night, he never stopped impressing me for the entire 90 minutes I would definitely go see Styx again all because of Gowan
Just wondering why they did'nt play babe from the last time i saw them it was the thing that they did'nt play the most one of there hits
Great night of life music by all 3 bands! Styx was my highlight. I’ve seen them a few times but tonight they seem to have that extra energy. If you get a chance to see these bands at some point (for what’s left of) this summer, do it. You won’t be disappointed.
Arrived to bud stage to loverboy on stage, great Canadian classic rock band, then re SPEEDWAGON and Styx both sounded like they did back in early years, Lawrence gown was amazing, both groups have been around for 50 plus years
They rule the genre of love ballet music, every single song was so professionally done and Gowan is a God.
Amazing Concerts with Loverboy REO and of coarse Styx ,,, Great concerts
Styx was amazing! Gowan stole the show! Such energy, talent and enthusiam! Une vraie bête de scène! J’ai adoré! Anytime they come again, I will be there!
