This concert was truly amazing. Our seats were great, the venue was great as well. The Struts performance was absolutely incredible, loved every minute of it. Would live to see them again. Will definitely attend another event at The Danforth Music Hall🙂
Easily one of the best live performances I’ve ever seen. So much energy and precision from the band! Will go see them any time they are in town. Venue was great too! Friendly and helpful staff. Place was clean and had great sound.
The Struts are always amazing live! If you get a chance, go see them. The Struts' fans are great - lots of fun (Luke, the lead singer, said we were exceptional July 31st!). King Falcon also put on a really good show. The Danforth Music Hall has character, beautiful architectural details, and the security and staff were pleasant and helpful. The view from the balcony was great. Overall it was another unforgettable night with friends and the Struts.
This was my second time seeing the Struts at the Danforth in Toronto. I opted for the VIP this time so I got a M&G and a Q&A with the boys… and the best part? Early entry - so I was front row centre for the show. From the moment the guys came into the hall, you could literally feel the excitement from all the people waiting to meet them. The boys were so genuine and appreciative of their fans and the Q&A was both honest and funny. Once they took the stage for the show they had the entire crowd in the palms of their hands. The set list was great, the sound and lighting were perfect, and it was overwhelming being so close to such masters of entertainment. I’ve been a fan of the Struts for 7 or 8 years now, and I can honestly say that they have never been better. I honestly don’t understand why they aren’t selling out arena tours. They have the talent, the showmanship and the songs to be the biggest band in the world. If you ever see that they are coming to a venue near you, do yourself a favour and don’t walk..: RUN (or should I say “strut”?) to get tickets. You won’t be sorry. I am proud to call myself a “Strutter” at 58 and will be going to their shows and buying their albums as long as they are a band.
The Struts were on fire By far, the tour opener at the Danforth Music Hall was the best of the 5 times I’ve seen them. The Toronto crowd was amazing
Overall, it was a very good experience. I do not go to very many concerts so I don’t have a lot to compare it to. The venue was good, not too hot. We were up in the mezzanine and not a lot of legroom. It would’ve been a little better if it was more obvious where they wanted you to line up outside the building. The opening act was good, very appropriate for The Struts. The Struts themselves were amazing, we were treated to the entire first album and then a few extra songs. I would go to both the venue and see The Struts again in a heartbeat. The acoustics in the building were amazing.
Reminds of The Stones but younger. Can't wait to see them again. They have a bright future.
The Struts go hard in all the best ways! Can’t wait until they are in town again! If you haven’t seen this band you’re missing out!
Great venue. Helpful staff. Luke is the most amazing energetic engaging beautiful singing voice front man with highly talented band musicians and all together .magic music happens.
