Thoroughly enjoyable. I didn't know much of their material, having only one album, but was really impressed with the range and talent of each band member. Definitely going to be buying the backlist!!

  • I loved Barenaked Ladies!

It was such a great concert! I heard them last year with the VSO and really enjoyed the show so wanted to see them again. This show was so much fun! I hadn't heard their new music but loved that too. Just a really entertaining show!

Concert was fantastic. A great mix of old favourites and new material. The guys have a wonderful stage presence bringing lots of local references and Grey Cup fun. It was the best concert since the Eagles in Saskatoon. Definitely will watch to see when BNL are in the area again.

In 3 letters - - W O W. These guys put on the full show, comedy, drama, great music, and acrobats. Seriously ... has to be one of the best concerts ever. They precisely nailed every note and even in the slower songs had everyone wanting to hear more. I can remember buying their first cassette, and will say that the 25 year wait to finally see them, did not disappoint. I wish they would have been in the half-time show at Grey Cup. Great Job Ladies!

Great concert Waitons were very entertaining Barenaked Ladies are truly a class act that shouldn't be missed

  • Barenaked Ladies - Great (Minnow - forgetable)

by iteach on 2013-11-25Brandt Centre - Evraz Place - ReginaRating: 4 out of 5

The Barenaked Ladies performance was excellent. The Waltons were, also, very good. The Minnow performance was quite poor. The drummer couldn't maintain a steady tempo if his life depended on it. Not recommended as a warm up act.

Absolutely awesome concert. Would definitely attend another one

  • Bare naked ladies were amazing

The show was outstanding. The group played flawlessly. The sound was incredible, the venue was perfect. They played new and old songs, bringing back memories while I made new ones. After seeing them I've been telling everyone to see them. Worth every penny and more. The fans around us seemed to enjoy them as much as us. Great show. See you again, soon. I will be buying the album when i get a chance.

  • Great venue; great show

    by murph219 on 2013-07-24Darling's Waterfront Pavilion - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

First-time to the Darling's Waterfront Pavilion and was mightily impressed with the organizers and the venue. Pleasant security people (if you're from Halifax like me, that's a rarity), good service, great sight-lines. Gorgeous night helped, obviously. Nor did the performers disappoint. Am a long-time BNL fan and former Ships 'n' Dipper (their much-missed theme cruise), so, with the exception of Ben Folds, have seen all many times before. The opener Boothby Graffoe is always hysterical - and a heckuva songster to boot; Guster never disappoints with their seamless harmonies and Brian's manic drumming, and BNL - well, they're BNL. I still sing the Steve arrangements in my car, but they've come into their own as a four-piece. I'll see them again anytime. Ben Folds is an extraordinary musician, but the mix didn't work as well for him, and I lost the lyrics too often, which was a shame. Still a terrific performer, but my least favourite of the four.

  • Great show! Too bad the Indy was in the way.

by RkNRoll on 2013-07-15Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I came to see Ben Folds Five and the Barenaked Ladies were just a bonus. I ended up enjoying BNL a lot more. I only knew a few Guster songs going in, but I think I'll pick up an album. They were really solid. Folds was great, but last autumns more intimate show at the Kool Haus was a much better venue for them. Too many people were talking and their dull murmur was disrupting some of the quieter moments. I hadn't seen the Ladies live since way back in the early 90's. I knew they'd put on a good show, but was delighted by how great they were. Clearly having a ball before a hometown crowd, their set was full of energy. It helps that the new album is a lot better than their last. I won't go into how disruptive the Honda Indy set up was to getting in and out of the show: it was a real pain in the ass, but we didn't ruin our night or our memories of a solid show.

  • Guster and BNL were great

by mkmkmkmk on 2013-07-15Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Guster and BNL were excellent, Ben Folds Five was disappointing. way too quiet also Ticketmaster didn't mail me my tickets and had to pick up which is kind of a pain

  • by Anonymous on 2013-07-15Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Ben Folds Five played too long and Barenaked Ladies didn't play long enough. Guster was a nice surprise. I really enjoyed them as well!

  • Barenaked Ladies Concert

    by nurse5 on 2013-07-14Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The Barenaked Ladies did it again. Old favorites, new songs too. Twists on current events turned into songs too. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

  • by Anonymous on 2012-12-11Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 3 out of 5

It was good but not great. I miss their old sound ...

  • BNL alright

    by Marko1 on 2012-12-11Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was good and entertaining. The BNL four are very talented mucisians and seasoned entertainers. Unfortunatley, the band is not the same without Steve. They lack the vocal harmonies as well as the humourous banter and showmanship that existed between Ed and Steve. The WSO was great but the mix between band and WSO was often muddled.

  • Barenaked Ladies are Fantastic

Great music with the WSO, warm banter, so many hits. Great time!
