  • Relaxing and enjoyable!

Saw the Barenaked Ladies perform with the WSO Pops. It was a really nice concert. The music was fun and made for a perfect relaxing evening. I only wish the concert would have been longer!

  • Barenaked Ladies were Awesome!!!

by Vyshenka on 2012-12-09Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

The Barenaked Ladies concert along with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra were absolutely awesome. The concert was fun and upbeat and the band was alot of fun to listen to and sing along with! The WSO was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed the entire show from start to finish. The only down side -- I would've liked to hear more!!

  • Fun-filled evening!

The "Ladies" with our WSO made for a fantastic & fun-filled evening! If I had a million dollars... I'd bring them together more often for everyone to see!

  • Concert of a Lifetime!

    by koolkat104 on 2012-08-21Bangor Waterfront Pavilion - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

Since this concert was a four-band set (Cracker, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Blues Traveler and Barenaked Ladies), I was expecting some short sets. The bands surprised me, though. Cracker had the first and shortest set but still sounded amazing. Big Head Todd's set was very nicely done (and the little surprise from Barenaked Ladies frontman Ed Robertson was... interesting) and by the time Blues Traveler hit the stage everyone was on their feet. I was there for Barenaked Ladies and they didn't disappoint. They played a good hour-and-a-half set, including all of their hits like 'One Week,' 'Pinch Me', 'If I Had A Million Dollars' and their routine concert ending, "Barenaked Rap.' It was a great night with some amazing weather for an outdoor concert, and I'd see all of the bands again in a heartbeat!

The show was awesome. The only thing wrong is Crackers stage time. They should start a half hour earlier.

  • Great show!

by wilborswife on 2011-09-16Western Fair Grandstand - LondonRating: 4 out of 5

The show wasn't very well advertised, a lot of people I spoke to about it didn't know BNL was playing as the Western Fair didn't include it in the booklet that list what's happening at the fair. I felt bad for them, I'm sure they were very disappointed in the turnout.

  • BNL Never Disappoint

by beezedgirl on 2011-07-14Cowboys Stampede Tent - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Always entertaining, high energy, funny, clever, what else can I say!? They always put on a great show, they always deliver. Missed Kevin but fill-in Kevin was good.

Barenaked Ladies rocked the Calgary Stampede!!!!! Awesome event:)

  • BNL and Cowboys - Great combination

    by Sister51 on 2011-07-14Cowboys Stampede Tent - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

An excellent concert. A great combination of songs to keep everyone going throughout the two hours. It was great to have them in a venue such as the Cowboys tent. The atmosphere was exciting yet relaxed. It was easy to move from spot to spot to get different views of the band and yet not feel like you were infringing on someone's space. A great job, BNL. I will definitely want to see them again.

  • Barenaked STill Rocks

by HeaterHabs on 2010-11-29Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

While they are still missing an important dynamic with the loss of Steven Page, the band is still great in concert. They put a lot of energy and humour into their shows and they have re-arranged several of the songs to gear towrds their new 4-part harmony. The new, revamped BNL are still definitely worth seeing live in concert.

  • Excellent Performance

    by Sally71 on 2010-11-29Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was the second time in 2010 that I've seen BNL in concert. Once again they never let me nor my friends/family down. They're a hands on kind of band who seem to love the audience and give 100% into every song. I especially appreciate the little songs they make up about where they perform at. It shows they take interest in the world beyond the stage. The sound in Massey Hall was amazing! This band is enjoyed by all ages. And could be enjoyed as a "family night out" too. Will see them everytime as long as they keep playing!

  • Barenaked Ladies rock the hometown.

by ElvinaGB on 2010-11-28Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

A great evening at Massey Hall. Jenn Grant opening to an enthusiastic crowd got the evening off to a wonderful start. The Barenaked Ladies sang a great mix of old hits and new songs from their latest album. We had a blast.

  • BNL sans Page is Great!

by Icons on 2010-11-28Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

BNL is as entertaining as they ever were before the split. We've seen them a few times and I gotta say that we barely even missed SP's vocals. Sure there were a couple of times where the difference was noticed, but honestly didn't affect the quality or entertainment value, and they were few and far between. We even thought that we prefer the new BNL as the performance better included the other members of the band. Thanks for a great show BNL.

  • BNL was thoroughly enjoyable

by chfor on 2010-11-28Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Played for almost 2 hours. Some banter with the crowd & great show, with some new songs & most of their hits!!

  • Worth the years of wait

by Momzly on 2010-11-28Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Truly enjoyed BNL. Have tried many times to see this great Canadian group. Wondered how things would be without Mr. Page but.....the Ladies did NOT disappoint.

  • awesome as always!

by yoyomofo on 2010-11-28Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

the ladies never disappoint. if you've never been to one of their shows before, you need to go. as always, they played a wide assortment of new and old, classic and b-sides and mixed it with a good laugh between songs (and during a few).

  • by JBFreddi444 on 2010-11-28Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Excellent except for the two 50 year old screaming morons at the back of the RCB that thought they were 14 years old - grow up. Very professional musicians, great song selection extremely entertaining banter between songs, but old seating made it a little uncomfortable. I would recommend to see them live to anyone even with bad seats

  • BNL Concert not the same

by Pigskin on 2010-11-28Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

The band sorely misses Steve Page. Although they sounded ok, had enough energy, and tried hard, my wife and I left after 8 or 9 songs. Ed was trying to sound like Page during the songs where Page would show off his chops. We were not impressed. Their new songs lacked any zip. Very forgettable. I wish I could get my money back.

  • Canada's got talent

    by happycamper88 on 2010-11-28Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Barenaked ladies always put on an amazing show, and Friday night more than lived up to my expectations. Their between-song banter was funny and captivating, and improvised rap songs were witty and incorporated the audience. Final number was a compilation of today's top 40 hits, complete with dance moves. Absolutely spectacular show

  • Still great, even without Page

by OBlade on 2010-11-28Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I was kind of worried the Ladies won't be that great without Page, but you know what, they totally don't need him. At all. They fill up the vocals incredibly well among themselves, they're all funny as hell, and they know how to put on a show. The setlist was constructed very well, lots of fan faves. Good stuff, just a tad too short.
