  • Amazing show

by Dragonfly on 2024-09-25Rating: 5 out of 5

Firstly I will say that the opening act Michigander was good. They did a low key set with just the singer playing guitar & another guitarist. It felt more intimate in that setting. Michigander did about an hour & then there was a short break before Crowded House came on. Crowded House were amazing from the first song. At times Neil Finn was pitchy but that can be forgiven in a concert. They alternated between their new songs from Gravity Stairs & old favourites like Don't Dream It's over, Private Universe, etc. They even did the old Split Endz song I Got You. Hubby & I had a great time. The banter between songs was enjoyable. I never knew Nick Seymour had such a quirky sense of humour. I would see Crowded House again anytime. The Niagara Falls show was their only stop in Canada so I'm glad I got to see them. The OLG Stage is a great venue. It's conveniently connected to the Hilton Fallsview through their upper level & connected to the Wyndham Fallsview through a tunnel to the Hilton. So we didn't even have to go outside which was nice as it was a little chilly on the concert night. We had great seats & the venue is built with stadium seating so even if tall people sit in front of you, you still get a great view of the stage. I really appreciated that. The sound in the venue was great as well. I think whoever the sound engineers were did a good job but the venue is also good acoustically. The only small thing I didn't like about the venue is that all the washrooms (2 sets) are on one side. It's kind of strange. Usually a venue has washrooms distributed throughout the building so that there isn't any bottlenecks for washroom lines. Luckily the lines went quickly so you didn't have to wait too long. Even the men had to line up. The staff here were also great. Other than that, I would definitely see another concert at the OLG Stage.

  • Crowded House = Good Time

by Gel63 on 2024-09-12OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara FallsRating: 5 out of 5

I loved the show! Neil Finn is a wonderful songwriter and an incredible singer. It must be a great feeling to make music with your family. Fallsview is a great venue too! We were in the 400C section and had no problem seeing or hearing, especially with the two large monitors. My only quibble was we seemed to be in a bass trap, so the kick and bass were a bit too loud. I'm sure it didn't sound like that at floor level, but I don't have that kind of money. Regardless, I rode my Crowded House high all the way home. I will definitely see more shows there.

  • Excellent Entertainment!

Great setlist, terrific talented band and of course Neil Finn in great voice! All the hits and something new in this high energy music filled night! One of the best shows we have seen in recent memory. If you love Crowded House I recommend you get your tickets to the gravity stairs tour!

  • Neil Finn and crew predictably brilliant

by MiffySan on 2024-09-12OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara FallsRating: 5 out of 5

My group all agreed that this was the first concert we'd been to in a long time where it was all about the music. Most shows we have seen lately are about the showmanship, the fancy backdrops and light shows, etc. Here we just focused on Neil Finn's beautiful, complex, expressive music. His voice is plaintive as ever, the fact that it is now a family band made it even more special. We left with our souls recharged. I'll put in a word for the OLG stage at Fallsview - clean, organized, great acoustics, comfy seats. We'll definitely come again.

  • A wonderful evening

Trip down memory lane- the band is as good as ever. Really enjoyed it!

  • Love love loved them

by Louise on 2024-09-11OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara FallsRating: 5 out of 5

They were amazing and so talented. I loved there kidding around during the performance. The only thing I would change is a disclosure stating there would be a warm up band prior to theirs as I rushed to get there from north of Toronto and I would have liked the option.

  • Crowded House...the band, the myth, the legend

Loved the show. This concert was more than 30 years in making. Would have loved some Chocolate Cake. Loved the walk down memory lane with I Got You. Crowded is on my Mount Rushmore of all-time favorite bands.

I’ve been listening to Crowded House for 30+ years, and it was on my bucket list to see them in concert. Absolutely worth it - great venue, the band was lively & engaged with the audience, just a fabulous time. If you have the chance to see CH, don’t miss it.
