Crowded House on Tour
Crowded House are a multi-platinum-selling Australian rock band who gained fame following their 1986 smash hit "Don't Dream It's Over," which has become one of the most covered songs of the last 20 years. Artists who have covered the song include Paul Young, Sixpence None the Richer, Stan Walker, and The Head and the Heart. These songs and the many that came after continue to resonate with audiences around the world decades later. After releasing their seventh studio album, 2021's Dreamers Are Waiting, Crowded House headed out on a North American tour, with international dates planned as well. The band's new album -- their first since 2011 -- and tour features founding members Neil Finn and Nick Seymour along with producer/keyboardist Mitchell Froom, guitarist and singer Liam Finn, and drummer Elroy Finn. Don't miss your chance to hear these classic songs, and new material, live. Get tickets to see Crowded House when they come to a city near you.
Crowded House Live in Concert
Formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 1985 from the ashes of New Zealand's Split Enz by Neil Finn, Paul Hester and Nick Seymour, Crowded House released their self-titled debut album in 1986 on Capitol Records and went on to international success with hits "Don't Dream It's Over" and "Something So Strong." The first iteration of Crowded House was active from 1985 until 1996 and released four studio albums to much success worldwide. Audiences around the world were coming out in droves to see the band for their freewheeling and interactive live shows. The original lineup performed their legendary Farewell to the World concert in 1996 at the Sydney Opera House before 150,000 fans. In 2007, following the passing of original member Paul Hester, Finn and Seymour got Crowded House back together again with longtime touring member Mark Hart and new drummer Matt Sherrod. Their new album, Intriguer, was released in 2010, their last album before 2021's Dreamers Are Waiting. In 2016, Crowded House was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame and during that same time brought back their Farewell shows for four nights of live performances at the Sydney Opera House.
Great concert. Glad I got to see them one time. Worth it!
Band was awesome and sounded great. Women's washrooms at the entrance were OUT OF ORDER! Come on, Especially on the day of a concert. Drink prices are also too expensive....people don't need to be gouged.
An awesome show! Take this one off my bucket list.
The band came out and did an excellent show they did two on course even did some stuff from split ends which was really cool takes you back man. Wasn't crowded for Crowded House LOL but just an awesome concert wasn't distorted very clear what a great night
Absolutely magical, great sound system, beautiful warm evening, staff where all helpful…
Blessed with good weather and the band that I grew up with! Acoustics were great and the music, legendary!
Crowded house sounded incredible. Played all the songs we wanted to hear. Great show !
Great concert, great seats and great performance by Neil Finn: My one and only big complaint is that persons sitting in the seats immediately in front of the gap between section 101 and the section in front of the stage, MUST be made to be seated! The entire front row was standing most of the show, forcing our entire section to be standing too, as the sight line to the stage was fully obstructed by the inconsiderate and selfish first row audience.
One of the best Alternative bands of the 90s with a good live presence
This is a band I've been dying to see for a very, very long time... and the wait was over as I had the privilege to see Crowded House at what is becoming one of my favorite venues in Toronto. They played most of their best songs, and even a few earlier songs from Neil's earlier days with Split Enz which was a pleasant surprise. It was a great show at a great venue... and it was a very memorable night.
Fantastic show. We love their songs, old and new. Wish there was time for more of Neil's solo music, but hoping he can return for another solo show soon. So many beautiful songs, such a fun show. Don't miss these guys if you ever have the opportunity to see them live. Finn's gorgeous music, and his voice sounds as great as it did when we first saw him 40 (gasp!) years ago. Was nice to see him do a few on the piano, as well. What a great evening. Big thanks!
The opening act was Spirit of the Bear. Well, worth adding to your playlist. Great energy and sound. Crowded House? How can you possibly say enough about this amazing band. Fantastic music, voices, harmonies, audience interaction. They are the entire package. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Please come back to Toronto!!!!!🙏🙏❤️
The only reason it is not rated as great were the sound issues with a couple of songs. I understand this is an issue at this venue, where the vocals get drowned out by the instruments. Crowd was into it, singing a long to most songs and it was generally a wonderful vibe. Would love to see Crowded House return and play a smaller, indoor venue.
Neil Finn and Crowded House were amazing as always. One of the best bands to see live. Neil Finn is one of the most under-appreciated songwriters and performers out there. Beautiful, haunting lyrics, beautiful melodies. So much fun to watch on stage as well with interaction with the others in the band. Thanks to the Toronto curfew they had to cut off the show after 2 hours. Never long enough!!! Hope Finn returns to Toronto soon. Venue was great, security was professional and exit was well organised. Thank you, Neil and the band for a fantastic evening! Too many highlights to mention.
Brought me back! Love summer concerts at the venue. Parking insane though to costly
You should not pay a premium for front row seats. They should really be sold as obstructed view seats because you are too close to see half the band. The camera man standing in front is us was also a bummer. Five stars for the band minus two for the crappy $eat$.
Crowded House was a bucket list for my husband and I! Amazing performance and a great band! Totally exceeded our expectations!
seats too close together and entry and exit from venue was long and tedious and funneling a crowd across a narrow bridge a problem.
So great to see Crowded House in Toronto this past weekend. I haven’t seen them live since ~1996 and was so excited to hear them play live once again. Awesome show, love Neil’s voice and lots of nostalgia from my high school days ❤️❤️
Great show, although there was a bit of a lull when they played their new material. Sound was terrible for the 1st song, but they fixed their mix right after. Overall a great concert.
