    The show was incredible, the venue was great too. Small theater, great people. It was my 5th time I see Glen Hansard and probably the best one.

    Except for one idiot (or two?) on the floor that liked the sound of his own voice. Also Mr Hansard, this is Canada not the USA. Other than that, it was a great evening (from the seat in the last row, right at the end)

    The show was absolutely wonderful. Glen is truly a musician's musician. All of his songs truly do come from the heart. You can feel it through his voice, the lyrics, the energy he brings, and the stories he tells before he begins almost each track. He also allowed for each of his bandmates to have solos, which I think is pretty wonderful. They all had such wonderful energy together. It was truly mesmerizing. I would definitely see him again.

    The evening with Glen Hansard and his wonderful band was a magical trip to Ireland. From the moment he stood quietly and sang the opening track from his new album, Grace Beneath the Pines, no accompaniment, to the raunchy end with the entire band and others singing an Irish drinking song. His stories were totally fascinating, giving us an insight into what makes the man, why he writes his songs, what makes the songs so meaningful. He is both quietly sentimental and full of lively mirth and vibrant use of his guitar. An evening to live forever in our memories.

    I have seen Glen Hansard three times now and will continue to see his shows every chance I get. He puts on a truly memorable performance and is a gift to watch. His story telling in between songs creates an intimate feel and each song sounds even better than any of his recordings. Glen was greeted and sent off with a standing ovation.

    Honestly one of the best shows I have ever seen at the Orpheum . Glen Hansard has found all the right pieces to put on a fabulous live show . With horns and strings to back up his emotional vocal style , this show was truly a special night for everyone in attendance . It will not be long forgotten . I will definately look for him to come around again ! Best $40 I've spent for a live performance in a long time .
