  • Great Neil Performance

    by Cobber569 on 2025-08-21Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The Chrome Hearts are a youthful, enthusiastic supporting band for Neil. With Neil’s large back catalogue of material, it must have been difficult to choose a set list. Neil did a great job with his selections. The performance was fantastic and at a little over 2 hours at 79 years of age, we got our money’s worth.

So impressed! Neil and the Chrome Hearts were captivating from the first song to the amazing encore. Favourite concert of the summer by far.

  • Unforgettable

by Joel Parkes on 2025-08-20Rating: 5 out of 5

I saw Neil Young & The Crome Hearts at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto on August 19 and I think it was one of the best shows I’ve seen in my life. The man is an amazing artist who still gives it his all. At 78 he plays guitar and sings with the passion of people decades younger than him going from deep cuts to major hits and switching from tortured electric guitar solos to whimsical ukelele and acoustic guitar. And then the rain started and it added another dramatic level to the show. It really started pouring during ‘Like A Hurricane’ and the crowd reacted by howling, dancing and loving it all. He encored with ‘This Buds For You’ and ‘Hey Hey, My My’ ending with a prolonged final dirge of electric guitar feedback and wild drumming. Unforgettable. Absolutely unforgettable.

  • A fantastic concert! Thanks Neil!

A great show, over two hours of Neil playing and singing. Took my nephew to his first big name concert and is now a big Neil fan. We had a great time on the lawn with thousands of fans. I was glad to hear some songs from Greendale, I saw that album in concert in Toronto many years ago and it remains one of my favourites. Thanks Neil!

  • One Of The Best Neil Young Shows

    by NY's TO34 on 2025-08-20Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I went to see Neil Young on Sunday. with his new band the Chrome Hearts.Consists of some members of Promise Of The Real. And Neil's keyboard player On and off Spooner Oldham. He played all of the hits except one new song about his bus.Called Silver Eagle. And for the first time in 28 years he played in the encore This Note's For You.From the Bluenotes. Some stuff from the album Greendale. But overall. It was one of the best Neil Young shows ever. But seeing him play his new recently purchased Orange Gretsch 6120.Through the internet. On Mr.Soul The most Neil Young recorded song. But first recorded with Buffalo Springfield. And seeing him play Ukulele on 2014's Storytone album Tumbleweed. Also CSNY stuff was present. The songs Neil wrote. But the second song of the night Cowgirl In The Sand.Wow!I hope Neil comeback in the future with Pearl Jam.Thank you.!

  • Neil Young Concert

by Silver on 2025-08-20Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Came from Barrie and found available parking a bit off a hassle especially during the CNE. Fortunately we found a private parking lot near the Dufferin Gates. Disappointed by lack of visual clarity on large video monitors. Image was not very clear or comfortable to watch. Personally thought band had a touch too much bass in their musically delivery. Sound could have been less muddled and clearer. Preferred sound mix that was less raw. Although the mix for Ohio was excellent. Enjoyed sound mix more at CSNY concert years ago at the Rogers Centre.

  • Neil awesome as ever!!

Neil has a huge catalog to choose from and never disappoints! Still sounds amazing at almost 80!

  • excellent - A legend!

Fantastic show - everything that would be expected from Neil and more!!

  • Memorable

by Kermit on 2025-08-20Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

From the first song the sound was excellent. At nearly 80 Neil was still rockin on guitar from cranked up electric to classic acoustic. Vocally on some of the high notes he was challenged but still a solid performance and as expected an excellent band.

  • Such a good show we went again.

by Anthony on 2025-08-20Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Neil young put on a wonderful amazing show. Both nights we so enjoyable. Even walking back in really heavy rain was enjoyable. The only change I would suggest is having better markings to get from Budweiser amphitheater to the go station. With the Ex on it’s really hard to navigate through the Midway.

  • Perfect night of Rock!

    by Phild44 on 2025-08-20Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Parking right at CNE, short walk to Fresh Water Stage as Neil rebaptized it. Neil Young concerts are always a soothing for the soul. His young band mates really brought as much energy as Neil himself. The venue is such a nice spot, we had the best weather too and setlist was great! Do yourself a favor, go see Neil perform if you still have the chance. Peace.

  • AMAZING SHOW

Amazing Show - Exceeded expectations! Great blend of songs!

  • Wet and "not bad"

by Le Sel on 2025-08-20Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Saw Neil Young at Budweiser Tuesday on the lawns. Neil still has great pipes. It would have been nice if he said more than "hey Toronto"and "how are you"to the crowd. The number of chairs on the lawns is out of control. Makes it really hard for those on blankets to see. Maybe its time Budweiser split the lawns between chairs and blanket sitters.

  • A must see

    by Mark G on 2025-08-20Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

,Many classics including hey hey, my my like a hurricane, cinnamon girl, and many others

  • Concert wasn’t loud enough !!

by Sam on 2025-08-20Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Pulled pork sandwich was terrific. Drinks way too expensive! End of evening shuffle out in the crowd was poorly managed and we ended up double-backing had to turn around and go out in the opposite direction. Could somehow this be explained better? I truly dislike this part, and it’s happened before

  • Neil Young…legendary

by BigShmoke on 2025-08-20Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Great show, band was tight, Neil was solid. Played 19 songs in all. Left us feeling we’d like to see him again next time he’s in town. Keep on rocking in the free world Neil!

  • Great Concert - terrible exit experience

by Nickster on 2025-08-20Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The Neil Young show was great - but having everyone exiting needing to scan back into the CNE grounds at 11:15 at night - when the CNE closed at midnight was bonkers ... finally common sense prevailed and they stopped this ridiculous "security"measure.
