The All-American Rejects wrapped up the summer of 2013 as the main support act on Blink-182's 20th Anniversary Tour, but the quartet from Stillwater, Oklahoma, is no stranger to headlining their own tours. They hit the road for the first time back in 2001 and have been delighting ticket holders ever since with their captivating, high-energy performances. Their hook-laden music has a tendency to scoop listeners up with its catchy melodies and tasteful pop arrangements. After forming in 1999, the band reached critical acclaim with their 2003 debut album, The All-American Rejects. The record went platinum and featured the single "Swing, Swing." Since then, they have stayed on the pop-chart radar with half a dozen more hit singles, including "Dirty Little Secret," "Move Along" and "Gives You Hell." Their impressive career has landed them two platinum albums, one gold album and worldwide sales of over 10 million records.
Speaking of worldwide, The All-American Rejects' romp across the international stage recently found them in Malaysia, gracing the stage in concert in Kuala Lumpur with fellow rockers The Wanted and Five For Fighting. The band's tremendous climb up from humble middle-American roots rings poignant with music lovers, and their fan base continues to grow with their success. They engage fans on YouTube and Twitter with their down-to-earth, boy-down-the-block, easygoing attitudes. Not to be blinded by technology, they keep their collective thumb on the pulse of the past. Lead singer Tyson Ritter admits to being a "total vinyl kid" and collecting records from Miles Davis and ELO. The singer also recently released a solo song, entitled "Air," in an attempt to tide fans over until the next album.

I went to see this show as more an event of nostalgia. I'm not really into the band anymore, nor that genre of music. However, I used to be a huge fan and seeing they were coming I knew I had to see them. That being said, I was thoroughly impressed. The entire band was incredibly energetic, and interacted with the crowd in the best way (not so much that you get tired of all the talking, but enough that you feel acknowledged). Their front-man (I don't know his name and am way too lazy to google that shit), was hilarious and creative in his performance and really made the show. They had a great setlist, and mixed in their classics with their new album really well (something really rare these days). My only complaint would be the crowd. It was a really shitty, low energy crowd (or at least the area I was in was). Show would've been much better with some more enthusiastic fans.
i love you guys! such a great show.... tyson is always entertaining!!! this was my second time going and im sure it wont be the last!
Amazing night! A Rocket To The Moon was amazing as the opening act! Then The All-American Rejects were just to die for! Amazing concert<3
Really good show! They played a good mix of old and new and they're just overall good performers. It was my my third time seeing them and i would definitely see them again!
Great performance with lots of energy, great venue at the Pheonix
I had an amazing time! The Phoenix is a great venue. It wasn't overly packed, the crowd was so great and enthusiastic. It was a spectacularly intimate concert. I had never seen AAR live before and they exceeded all of my expectations!
