A friend went with the ticket I bought for him. Loved the show. Was so worn out took next day off work. LOL Said the pit was the best he's been in for years. Was also glad it was switched to the Phoenix instead of Rebel. Rebel is Toronto's WORST venue. The Phoenix is a great venue for GA!

  • Incredible show - decent venue

by MistressK on 2018-07-30Elements Night Club - KitchenerRating: 5 out of 5

Every now and again there's a show that stands out as something special to have been a part of - one that will stay with you when you're old and grey. Between Sick of it All blasting out parts of their catalogue older than some of the audience members while truly engaging the crowd with their charisma and freight train NYHC sound, then Suicidal Tendencies ripping through old favourites with the promise of another tour to come, this was one of those nights. Dave Lombardo is an amazing fit with ST, and the virtuoso performances by the lead guitarist were incredible to witness. Venue is ok - upstairs women's washroom was a pain in the arse and definitely in need of some renovation, $6.50 for domestic regular (not tall) cans was a bit on the high side, but overall decent. At least the stylized Batman fabric swatches around the ceiling improve the acoustics enough to have a decent show for a small club.

  • The band I went to see wasn't there

by Damonbarkley on 2018-07-29REBEL - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Havoc was advertised to play but they were headlining a show in Montreal the same night as the show. I drove from ottawa to Toronto to see them so it was very upsetting. The show was still decent but not what I went for.

  • SUICIDAL Tendencies were Amazing!

After all these years Mike Muir still has it!! The energy in the room was outstanding.

  • Sick Of It All...how did I miss them for 30 years

    by Swinks69 on 2018-07-29Elements Night Club - KitchenerRating: 4 out of 5

Elements club in Kitchener is a great venue for raw energy fueled music. Suicidal Tendancies did not disappoint other than leaving out a few hits that many noticed were missing. Surprise of the night goes to SOIA who put on an amazing show from start to finish. Created many a new fan around me at the show...albeit 30 years late.

  • Suicidal preach!

by roblangilledotcom on 2018-07-29Elements Night Club - KitchenerRating: 5 out of 5

Despite being a small venue, the buzz and noise gave it a large venue atmosphere in the crowd, while keeping it intimate. Openers "Sick Of It All" came out hot and left us all as charred remains. Fast, hard and relentless, they did there job and then some to get the crowd not only buzzing but intense! Suicidal hit the stage with flair and energy so brutal, that there was no place to go to escape the immense party atmosphere. Playing a thicket of older tunes, they sucked the crowd into the inner depths of the Church of Suicidal. If you weren't a member of the Suicidal Army when you arrived, you were forced into membership by the end of the show. Lead singer and OG Mike Muir preached about life is hard, confront it, and never left it stop you. Never let it compromise who you are! AMEN! I've never seen such interaction with the crowd, filling the stage with bodies to participate in the rituals and the music and never letting us breath! If I could, I would be a disciple and follow these travelling prophets just to experience the intensity again and again. I've been to plenty of concerts, but this one was by far the best on ever. Hands down. Thank you Sick Of It All and thank you SUICIDAL TENDENCIES!
