Americana singer/songwriter Tanner Usrey is a consummate storyteller. Tackling themes ranging from addiction to the rigors of touring and feeling disconnected from your loved ones, the Texas native doesn't shy away from difficult issues.

Born and raised in Prosper, Texas, Usrey began performing with his brother around 2013 and broke out as a solo artist in 2017. Since then his soulful, heartfelt tunes have amassed more than 20 million streams and counting.

Always growing and challenging himself to go deeper with his songwriting, Usrey was named Emerging Artist by Arkansas' Peacemaker Festival, and his single, "The Light," was featured on the Season 4 finale of Paramount Networks' hugely popular TV show, "Yellowstone."

Usrey's live performances, often backed by some of the best musicians in the business, are not to be missed. Catch this rising star when he comes to a city near you.

Tanner Usrey Live in Concert

Tanner Usrey grew up in Prosper, Texas, singing from the time he was very young. He soon learned to play the guitar and said that he fell in love with the type of storytelling that could be uniquely expressed through songwriting.

Usrey began performing with his brother in the early 2010s and struck out on his own as a solo artist in 2017. His knack for writing relatable, heart-wrenching lyrics and combining them with ear-grabbing melodies has resonated with a wide fanbase who have streamed his tunes more than 20 million times.

Usrey's critically acclaimed 2019 EP Medicine Man paints an intimate portrait of the ups and downs of being with someone who struggles with addiction and how you desperately hope they don't lose that battle. His 2022 single, the ballad "Pick Up Your Phone," examines the feelings of disconnection and communication breakdowns with people closest to you expressed through his earnest, soulful vocal delivery, which has become his trademark.
