  • I might be chasing this high for the rest of my life

by Sarah on 2025-05-27History - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Three cheers for 20 years (and for 20 more, and 20 more after that). Mayday Parade puts on an excellent show. Looking forward to the next one.

  • Crowd was ruthless

by Megan on 2025-05-24History - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The bands were amazing but the crowd just kept pushing everyone away. I’m 4’11 and was constantly pushed back and losing my spot. It gave me a lot of anxiety. The stage should be higher so that short people can see too, I couldn’t see a thing.

Absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED this tour! Magnolia Park finally was able to come to Toronto and they killed it! Was so great to see Real Friends again with Cody as the new vocalist, you did a good job! And of course Mayday Parade, wow! Absolutely was incredible hearing the self-titled album all the way through most songs I had never heard live before so I absolutely loved the experience. Thank you for making my 2022 year with this tour a great one so far, concert-wise. Hoping to do it all again with Sad Summer.

I laughed, cried, moshed, it was the best experience I’ve had in a long time. Couldn’t have asked for a better night!

  • Mayday at the Phoenix in T.O.

by Mic on 2022-03-23The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen these guys play four times now and I never think they can get better but then they do. Such a great show, the crowd was electric and everyone was just having a good time. Playing all the favourites as well as like a 6 song encore?? Just wild, I love them and if you’re thinking of seeing Mayday live, there should be no hesitation

  • Incredible at best

by Music guy on 2022-03-23The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing band. So good live. I’ve seen them so many times and never disappoints!! The “self titled” album is amazing and to hear it front to back was awesome !! If you haven’t seen Mayday live , you are missing out. Energy is at another level and there’s no sing along like “miserable at best” in any other bands set.

  • They could only sing you sad songs

by Roanna on 2017-05-08The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Seeing Mayday Parade play A Lesson in Romantics in full was fantastic! I was in high school when the album was released, so I've actually been listening to it for ten years and it was cool to hear those songs live. I liked that they played it in order because it felt familiar and you could guess which songs were coming up next, but it didn't take away from the excitement (especially when they played another 6-7 songs after they finished the album). The crowd was very responsive and the band seemed to feed off of it, bringing lots of energy and singalongs with them.

  • Better than the studio version!

by Jodan on 2017-04-19Union Hall - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

The Mayday Parade was absolutely amazing live. They sounded better than the Lesson in Romantics studio version, and it blew me away, and they had the same effect on everyone else in the room. I would definitely attend another one of their concerts if they were to come back to Edmonton!
