About

Pearl Jam is an alternative rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1990. The band's lineup consists of bassist Jeff Ament, rhythm guitarist Stone Gossard, lead guitarist Mike McCready, lead singer/guitarist Eddie Vedder and drummer Matt Cameron. Thirty-plus years of live performances, twelve studio albums and hundreds of official live concert bootleg releases later, Pearl Jam continues to be critically acclaimed and commercially successful. The band has sold over 85 million albums worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017. Pearl Jam's new album, Dark Matter, is out April 19, 2024. Since the earliest days, Pearl Jam has used its platform to elevate people and causes that often go unnoticed or underserved. Much of the band’s philanthropic work is accomplished through its Vitalogy Foundation which to date has raised more than $50 million for organizations supporting issues such as abortion access, climate change and homelessness, and drawing attention to the fight against diseases such as Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis and epidermolysis bullosa (EB). In addition to the money Vitalogy donates, the band also donates signed instruments, posters and merchandise to organizations to use for their own fundraising purposes. Compounding the impact of Vitalogy Foundation, the band has supported Jeff Ament’s Montana Pool Service in building skate parks in Montana and South Dakota. Pearl Jam also lends its voice to notable causes like the West Memphis 3, voting rights and fair ticketing practices. Over the past three decades, the band has a long history of standing up for what it believes in and putting its resources behind those beliefs. Through its innovative Ten Club and fan engagement, community building, coveted poster designs, and longstanding activism and philanthropy, Pearl Jam continues to have a lasting impact on generations of music lovers.

  • Epic Show

    by Reginald69 on 2024-05-09Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Great sound, set list, interaction with crowd. Vedders voice hasn’t faded away - sounds incredible. I could hear every word. Highly recommended.

  • Pearl Jam never disappoints

    by 1Johnny on 2024-05-09Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Brilliant performance from a brilliant band! Loved the screen in the back. Among other things, the screen really highlighted Mike McCreedy’s brilliant guitar performance.

  • So good I had to go both nights

by JJ on 2024-05-09Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I was excited. Big music fan but only been a PJ fan the last few years. The new album got me even more excited and by 5 songs in, I knew we were witnessing a band at the top of their performance game. Definitely the most "intimate"vibe I've experienced at Rogers 20,000 capacity. I also had the "worst"seats in the house that I bought last minute and I couldn't think of a better way to spend $75. I had proper tickets the 2nd night right next to the stage. As much I loved the first show, they were even tighter the 2nd. Most amazingly is besides the new songs and "Alive", they played completely different sets. Night 1 we got hits like Daughter, Night 2 we got Better Man. Lastly, it was pretty much the perfect set length. They did 1 big encore instead of leaving and coming back and all that annoying stuff. All in all, one of the best stadium concerts I've ever seen (and that includes Neil Young, Oasis, Bryan Adams, James Taylor, Elton John, etc etc). These guys were just on fire and the music connected more than it ever has with their audience. Things Rogers could be better at: Mop the floor! Both nights the entire floor was sticky from previous events. I had to wash my shoes to get the beer off (probably from playoff hockey games). And also when leaving the venue it was mayhem with people not knowing which direction to go.

  • Great Concert.

by Tony on 2024-05-09Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

  • Great show!

Always a great show seeing Pearl Jam live. Different show every night. New screen background was also great new add.

  • Only complaint is about merch!

by Lmd on 2024-05-09Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Concert was amazing, as expected!! But super disappointed in their approach to merch sales! Opening merch sales soooo early and also outside the arena available to public.. I did not get a choice when buying tickets to go to the first show instead of the second and that combined with the weird sales tactic made like no sizes and half the designs unavailable despite showing up super early. And no option to purchase online.

  • Great concert!

    by Bern-out on 2024-05-09Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

We went to the 2nd show and happy that they sang a couple of their popular songs that they which I heard they didn't at 1st show. Eddy Veddar still has his great voice !

  • Incredible experience.

by Bowdie on 2024-05-09Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

The show was such a great time. A great band and they are such great performers. They played for two and a half hours and shared their hits as well as some new music. Eddie Vedder fills the room with his vocals. What talent! Loved every moment.

  • First time seeing Pearl Jam Live!

by SB on 2024-05-09Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Even though we were as far back and up as you could get, we did think to bring binoculars. The screens helped but the music was great no matter what. And the interaction with the crowd on the floor was fabulous. Something out of everyone's control that is distracting are the people who sit on their phone scrolling Instagram on totally different subjects with a bright screen right beside you. Love the family to the right as they were there to see the show and hear the music and dance. It was so awesome. Going to a concert is a shared experience for the shared love of the band and the music they play. The ones that are just filling a seat for whatever reason I wish they'd stay home or go to a bar and let the fans fill the seats.

  • Eddy rocks

    by E-jammer on 2024-05-09Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Incredible show. Great energy from the crowd. Good vibes all around. The band was top notch and strong.

  • Fantastic night of music

by Chi chi on 2024-05-09Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

It had been 25 years since my last Pearl Jam show, and man they can still rock. The band sounded fantastic and Eddie sounded better than ever. So happy to have seen them again. Pearl Jam please don’t wait for 11 years to come back to Vancouver. For those waiting for later concert dates. You are in for a fantastic night of music.

  • Fine, with great moments

by Old time fan on 2024-05-09Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Sooooo much of the new album… If you don’t know it… The concert is a bit of a letdown. But when they do sing a song you know… So good!!

  • PJ was awesome, venue was meh

by Bham on 2024-05-09Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Was awesome seeing Pearl Jam, they were awesome as anticipated. Although their stage was rlllllly small, and it was super dark for the first 1/3 of the concert you could barely see them. Rogers arena however was a nightmare. It was packed. Which was to be expected but NOBODY was managing it. It was shoulder to shoulder people and you had to push your way through cause half the people are just standing in the way like idiots. Also, the merch lines were insane. Almost everything was sold out wayyyyy before the concert was even close to starting. Also, we tried to get outside for a minute to get some fresh air since it was so insane inside and this rude girl told us we weren’t allowed and said if we went out we couldn’t come back in. Thats insane, there’s zero fresh air in there. Rogers arena seriously needs to make some upgrades. The bathroom lines are insanely long.

  • Always a killer performance

by Kris on 2024-05-09Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Pearl Jam never disappoint. The sound is impeccable always - and I've seen them three times now, in different cities and decades. They are such a good group of guys. This time we took our kids- 11 and 8 and they had the time of their lives. No crazy theatrics like a lot of concerts, just good music and vibes.

  • Pearl Jam Rocked the House!

by Markus on 2024-05-09Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Pearl Jam put on a legendary show! Not many bands that can keep the entire stadium on their feet for almost three hours. They absolutely rocked it!

  • Fantastic

by Guy who likes concerts on 2024-05-09Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic show. They came to entertain and they did their job well. I was lucky to see the Saturday and Monday show and both were top notch. A word of caution to anyone though that wants a best of tour. This is a Dark Matter Tour for promoting their new album. So.if you are hoping for a Ten Album Your, your going to need a time machine for that. They still played lots of classics but they are playing a lot of songs from Dark Matter.

  • 1st PJ show - blown away!

    by Alley69 on 2024-05-08Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first Pearl Jam show. Not sure why it took me so long as I've been a fan since the 90s. I was sooo impressed with Eddie's vocals and the rest of the bands' incredible talent. It felt like a small venue experience due to how well they connect with the audience. Truly enlightening experience!

  • Dark Matter Kick off

by Mario on 2024-05-07Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Pearl Jam played exquisitely a good combination of old and new songs Eddie rocks!

  • PJ and EV in Vancouver - Unbelievable!

by TP on 2024-05-07Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

From front to back, this band and Eddie make a venue feel intimate. Haven't seen them since the 90's and better than I even could have hoped for. Thankful!

  • Great concert, still got it!
