Steph is an incredible musician and has a way of connecting with the audience like no other. Her positive vibes and energy are infectious.

it would have been better to see her at the axis club with 500 people but 100 at velvet was incredible too. Tough to see her through the crowds. it was great when she stood up.

Loved seeing her perform live!! I hope she loved her Canadian tour.

A Steph Strings performance is electric and simply delightful. She regards her audience as though they are old friends, chatting and telling stories and encouraging them to sing along or move to the music. And, everyone gladly took her advice. I was hoarse for days. lol Overall, opening music by Martin Kerr was awesome with lots of energy. Loved his work! Steph Strings has a way of being present with her audience. You feel like you are in her living room listening to parts of her life that come alive in song. Her new compositions from the EP Cradle Mountain, include some of her best work yet. Although I will always be partial to "Joyous,"which she sang as a request. The evening was a joy-filled experience. Her guitar work is astounding, and the exhilaration she projects through her music is contagious. Everyone I spoke to was blown away by her performance. So glad I was able to be there. Highly recommend checking her music on your favourite platform, or better yet, seeing her in concert. The iconic Velvet Underground was a good size for the group. Everyone felt as though they were part of the circle. The ladies' washroom has very interesting graffiti in the stalls. Loved it. I will note that the lighting was weird, bathing her in pink and green light. The haze created by a smoke machine was also a little much for the small stage. But those are minor details. Thanks for returning to Toronto, Steph. I am looking forward to your next visit to this part of the world.
