So I went to the show with a couple of friends and let me tell you, the Eagles do NOT disappoint! The opener was Flash Lightnin', who rocked the house (and got my friend and I dancing alone on the floor!). When Jesse and the guys came out though... it was magical. Not to mention the fact that Queens of the Stone Age drummer Joey Castillo played for them!!!! AWESOME! The band pumped out song after song with so much energy and life and they looked like they were having more fun than all of us in the audience were (hard to believe? see for yourself.)! The show was great, absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend the music to anyone, just rock and roll, good time music to shake your (insert body part here) to. (Ps. In between songs, Jesse told my friend she had a million-dollar smile, and that smile got us onto the tour bus to meet him and Dave! EPIC NIGHT.)

  • cheap ticket prices? ok

by oneoftwo on 2009-08-17THE NEW CAPITAL MUSIC HALL - OttawaRating: 3 out of 5

The sound was good, the band played with enthusiasm, good interaction with the crowd. Too bad Josh was not part of the lineup. The venue sucked! Will never return to Capital Music Hall unless the band is must-see. The staff is rude and does not know the meaning of customer service.
