Simple Minds was awesome, Jim Kerr's voice was on point and the rest of the bandmates were excellent!

It's about time to invest money to the venue and build a retractable roof!!!

  • Loved every moment

by Incredible show on 2025-06-22Centre Bell - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Show was incredible . Bathroom wait was enough to miss the whole thing you need some portable bathrooms at the bell centre while you’re renovating. Seats and performance I’m still dreaming about.

  • Glittering Review

by Kruno on 2025-06-22Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Simple Minds still have the chops after all these years. Jim Kerr sounds like he did 40+ years ago. The band is solid. They played so many of their best tunes. The only thing I could ask for was more....

  • Sound quality, AMEX lounge and annoying water option

by CGTORONTO on 2025-06-22Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Please bring back the flow water !! The cans are impossible. You can’t reseal them, and there are no cup holders. Also we’ve noticed this before: the sound greatly improves for the headliner at this venue. The first two bands had a lower sound quality with the equipment.. The AMEX lounge is great to use the washroom, but you cannot order food if you don’t have a table and they keep the tables reserved even if they’re empty - so you have nowhere to sit and then cannot order any food. I had a much better experience another time ! now I know that this lounge is not truly for all AMEX holders.

  • Still sound amazing

by Doone on 2025-06-22Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert. They played all the hits and still have got it. Their drummer put on a great performance and even did a drum solo. Loved the shout out to Toronto and CFNY who supported them in the early days when they were an unknown band. Definitely would see them again!

  • Just Great

    by Chris L on 2025-06-22Centre Bell - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Well, it was a fabulous night. Starting with Modern English, then Soft Cell, and then of course Simple minds. Brings you back to your younger days when you first enjoyed their music. I loved Simple Minds from the beginning, as their sound is a bit unique, and they were just great. Sound was clear, and Jim Kerr sounded very, very good. Show was extremely enjoyable, and the crowd loved it, as did the band. Would even see them again.

  • A perfect trio

by Movekat on 2025-06-22Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

It was so great seeing Modern English & Soft Cell live for the first time after enjoying their music for the last 40 years! Jim Kerr and the band put on a great sounding show bringing me back to the 1984 Kingswood Theatre days. Vocals were great, the band sounded awesome, I loved the shoutout to Toronto & CFNY. Thoroughly enjoyed it and danced throughout.

  • Magic as always

by Janne on 2025-06-22Centre Bell - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Travelling from Sweden on a work trip, paths crossed with Simple Minds in Montreal. Had a great night with the band performing world class. The venue of Bell Center was a nice place as well, easy access, short queues to refreshments and comfortable seats.
