To celebrate two decades of 'Give Up' and 'Transatlanticism', The Postal Service & Death Cab for Cutie have joined forces for an unprecedented 20th anniversary co-headline tour. Each night, Benjamin Gibbard, the co-founder of both bands, will pull double duty performing with The Postal Service - comprised of Gibbard, Jimmy Tamborello, and Jenny Lewis - as well as with Death Cab for Cutie (alongside Nick Harmer, Dave Depper, Zac Rae, and Jason McGerr). The extraordinary live run will see both iconic groups performing their seminal 2003 albums in full.

This show was unreal. The sound was incredible. I loved the full album format from start to finish. It was so awesome to hear these gems again after all these years. It’s been 20yrs since I first saw Deathcab in concert. They have only gotten better. The voice. The band. The energy. It has only gotten better over the years. I would not hesitate to buy up tickets to see this performance again. To see The Postal Service performance as well as the Deathcab for Cutie performance is well worth the money spent. Thanks for an amazing time!
great venue that was well organized. Event staff were pleasant, conversational and helpful
I have been a fan of both Death Cab for Cutie and The Postal Service for 20 years. This was a bucket list experience for me and it lived up to all my expectations. It was well worth the wait and if I had the time, money and gumption I would hull my butt to Vancouver for their second Canadian show on this leg of the tour. Truly excellent experience, would go again, would highly recommend.
They came on....it sounded a bit shaky....that was a good thing.....it only got better...all my favorites, mixed throughout. Well worth the money, and I'd go again! Opening band....Hmmm...maybe left something to be desired, I was surprised to hear them...but it did get us in the mood!
Lets just say that if you like the album Give Up, then you will love hearing it live!! Ben Gibbard is one of those artists that turns everything to gold!
This was an unbelievable show. Four different sounds coming together to make such sweet harmony. Great chemistry on stage. They all looked like this was where they belonged and were in total bliss together. I know it has been ten years but a new album to follow this tour would be the icing on the cake!
Postal Service did an excellent job. They put on a fabulous show and I give them 100% credit for the performance (music, lights, set list). I was very displeased with the venue though. The ACC was entirely inappropriate for such a small key event. Half of the venue was closed and the half we were in didn't even fill up. Also when I purchased my tickets it was unclear whether I had the option for floor tickets or seats.. I was under the impression it was general admission. I wish I could have been down on the floor rather than in a side to the right of the stage. I was very happy with the band but it is a shame that for the only chance I got to see them perform the venue was so wrong.
I actually went to this show because my girlfriend wanted to see them as she is a big fan of Postal Service. I have to say, as a new listener, they were amazing live. The opening act Mates of State did a bang up job too, and I hope they get more recognition. Probably need to bring ear plugs to prevent long term damage to my ears, but what an amazing and eclectic mix of songs. I believe Postal Service sang their entire album, and what a show they did. Glad to see them on tour as this would probably be their only tour.
Great show, great energy; poor venue choice for this event.
