The 3rd James show this month! Always great, always fun, never leave disappointed. The Commodore was a great venue for them.
This show rocked from the beginning to the end ! Have followed James for many years but never seen them live. Make a point of seeing them !
Spectacular band in an incredible venue. They played 23 so gas and still could’ve played another 20. So many great tracks over their career. Tim interacts with the audience like no other. The band is amazing!
Simply the best show I've ever seen. I fell in love with this band all over again. Geniuses all of them. Incredible chemistry, crowd interaction, humour, energy, peace, love, risk taking, musicianship...just Incredible. Brilliant bunch of beautiful people. Sooooo grateful. Only james and Robin Williams can make me laugh and cry in the same moment... the wonder of it all :)
A great concert where the lead singer really engaged with the audience, what a vibe! I was so impressed that we got a performance that lasted over 2 hours, just wow!
The band James DO NOT know how to disappoint. This has been my third time seeing them, and they are better each time in spite of them getting older. How does that work? Such an engaging group that somehow ignites the audience into singing along. I got the impression that the band enjoys the experience as much as the audience. I have had the choice of seeing them play in Toronto or Montreal. My wife and I choose Montreal each time, even though it's 4x the distance. Why? Montreal just knows how to have fun. Tim Booth, the lead singer, came out on stage and commented it being a Monday night and expected a sedate crowd. Sorry Tim....not possible in Montreal. I have been a fan of this band from the beginning. They really are the best yet, people know very little about them. I do my best to spread the word. Anyway, its been three days since seeing them perform and I am still sore from moving to the music and singing along. Not to frighten anyone but the only comparison is a football match in the UK....a great noise and vibe to be compared to. I really, really hope they will return. Count me in to attend, and I strongly urge you to do the same.
James was one of the best, shows I have seen this year. 25 song setlist, with beautifully executed songs. A total immersive experience. I would have gone to see them again the next night if there was a second show scheduled.
Waited a long time for James to return to Canada. Flew to the show from Edmonton. Was well worth it. Tim engaged the audience and the band was amazing. Loved the venue as well. Hope that they have more dates the next time around.
James delivers another in a series of superior live concert experiences. Portland was better than Seattle which followed and Vancouver which preceeded it.
Absolutely mind blowing! a superb performance by a fantastic band. This is a band you must see before you die or before they call it quits, they are that good and they have got better with age. This gig was so good that on the Saturdayday we bought tix for the Seattle show and drove 3 hours there and 3 hours back again in the rain to see them again and it was well worth it!
