Best concert I have been to!
by Matt on 2023-07-05So many pyrotechnics and so good at working the crowd. So many funny specific comments and jokes that only locals know. How did they know all of them? They are such good performers.

blink-182 are one of the biggest mainstream rock crossover bands of the 21st century, sustaining multiple iterations to sell over 50 million albums worldwide and notch two No. 1 albums in two decades. Formed in 1992 by bassist Mark Hoppus, guitarist Tom DeLonge and drummer Scott Raynor, the pop punk pioneers became staples of their local San Diego scene as well as the Warped Tour circuit before breaking through with their sophomore effort Dude Ranch (1997). The Aquabats drummer Travis Barker took Raynor's place ahead of blink-182’s 1999 breakthrough, Enema of the State, and with this new core lineup, the group earned their first of eight Top 10 albums behind their first Hot 100-charting hits “What's My Age Again?” and “All the Small Things.” blink-182’s 2001 follow-up Take Off Your Pants and Jacket debuted atop the Billboard 200, while 2003’s self-titled album revealed a significant artistic shift on singles like “I Miss You,” which would top the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart. Following a hiatus, the trio reconvened for 2011’s Neighborhoods before Alkaline Trio singer and guitarist Matt Skiba took over for DeLonge in 2015. 2016’s California became blink-182’s second No. 1 album, featured their first Gold single in over a decade, “Bored to Death,” and went on to score the group’s first Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album in 2017. The core lineup of Hoppus, DeLonge and Barker officially reunited in 2022, and ushered in their album One More Time… in October 2023.

Concert was awesome! I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to see them since was behind the stage but was awesome they had screens
Blink's show was phenomenal. Solid set list, great stage presence and their show was made for arenas. However, the floor set was moronic. Floor should be entirely general admission. It makes no sense that Rogers has started putting in seats on the floor for all their shows and only 20% general admission. Everyone stands, everyone tries to move around. Locking people to their seat on a FLOOR is awful set up. It definitely ruined a huge part of the show and energy for myself and will make me think twice about going to any future shows at Rogers if the floor isn't fully general admission. Everyone stands, let people move around. Especially since the price was exactly the same.
This was my 7th time seeing blink-182. I wish that I could re-live these moments over and over again. Mark, Tom and Travis deliver an amazing performance every time they play on stage. Waving goodbye is the hardest part. I hope they come back soon! I hope they are able to keep this up well into their 60's! I miss you guys.
Blink 182 took me back to the early 2000’s! Such a tight band, so much fun! 1000% recommended!
Blink 182 did not disappoint one bit. Was such an excellent show I even teared up a few times.
The show was amazing with good energy. Good sound as well.
First time Ever! Had a blast! I’d buy a ticket anywhere! Thank you for coming to Canada with city options! Worth the drive, dream come true. Pre game $15.00 beers lol
The concert itself was fantastic but the service in the alcohol line was dreadful. Understaffed and no sense of urgency to get people in and out. The staff would make great Walmart greeters!
10/10 for the band. They sound as good as ever and have crazy good energy. Shocking that these guys are all essentially 50! The saddledome did not have nearly enough staff working though which made things more chaotic than they should have been. Parking etc was a bit of a mess.
The show was amazing, the first band Destroy Boys were ok, the band Turnstiles were very good we’re definitely see them again. blink 182 on the other hand incredible show and played everyone favourite song from start to finish. Would definitely see them again
They nailed the nostalgia, went out of their way to relate to our city. Played fantastic, exactly what you would expect from Blink. They had fire, smoke and explosions, as much as the old Saddledome could handle. Only thing that would have made it better would have been a newer venue.
Blink 182 put on one of the best concerts I have ever been to. The Saddledome set up was confusing as hell though. I know a few people who ended up accidentally sitting in the wrong seats and I was one of those people.
Perfect event. Music, lights. Great band, the atmosphere was amazing. 1.5 hours ran very fast
The vibe and energy of the concert was fantastic, they really threw all they had at the stage. We were really lucky to get to see them for the last time because of marks cancer. They are getting older and you can hear it in their voices. Overall, amazing concert!
I travelled from NS to AB for this concert and when I tell you it was PHENOMENAL!!! It’s the best concert I’ve been to in years!!! Thank you Mark, Tom and Travis!!! It was AMAZING!!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Took my daughter. I reckon that show was equally enjoyed by both of us.
One of the best concerts I’ve been to. The opening act (Turnstile) was the perfect warm up before Blink came on stage, super energetic and clearly loved what they do. Especially loved Turnstiles drummer! Blink 182 was phenomenal. Pyrotechnics, sound quality and props were out of this world and the band interacted with the crowd throughout the entire show. Amazing show from start to finish.
Exceeded expectations, they still play fast and sound great. Actually worth the ridiculous amount of money I had to pay via ticketmaster. Turnstile was great too.
Last time I watched blink was about 10 or so years ago at Leeds Festival and I walked away thinking well that didn’t sound great, I’m doing the same after this. Now that’s not to say the show isn’t good the lighting graphics even the guys stage presence and banter is great. My biggest issue is their set list feels so rushed for all the bigger hits. Like I get it if you’re sick of playing the same songs for so long but we arnt sick of listening to them. Barker is unreal greatest drummer alive and he carrys the guys now more than ever. Still love them but I almost feel like a shorter set with more crowd interaction would go along way.
