As one of the progenitors of the rapid-fire Chopper style of rap, itā€™s no surprise that Tech N9neā€™s name derives from an iconic rapid-fire handgun. With four No. 1 albums on the Independent Albums chart and over 2 million record sales worldwide, Tech N9neā€™s career has been characterized by a focus on collaboration to a degree unrivaled among his peers. In 2013 alone, Tech N9ne, nĆ©e Aaron Yates, would collaborate with artists as diverse as The Doors, Serj Tankian, and Cee Lo Green on his 13th studio album Something Else. All said and done, over 25 artists contributed to the release, including Snow tha Product and Wreckonzie on lead single ā€œSo Dope (They Wanna)ā€ and Kendrick Lamar on follow-up single ā€œFragileā€. Preceding Something Else was a string of collaborative album releases, dubbed the ā€œTech N9ne Collabosā€, including The Gates Mixed Plate in 2010 and Welcome to Strangeland in 2011. On tour in 2013, Tech N9ne has been treating ticket buyers to his quickfire flow and affinity for sharing the spotlight, surprising fans with appearances by his wide array of collaborators at his live concerts.

    Amazing show it was a great venue and all the acts including the openers were awesome and got the crowd feeling like we were part of the show and we all mattered not a bad seat in the house whether your standing or sitting at danforth music hall

    The show was just lit. King ISO was dope asf, super hype. Then tech came in guns blazing. The crowd was hype, the songs tech chose were classics, I got my backwoods pack signed, it was a damn good day haha

    i love tech n9ne and strange music the experience that i felt being able to be right beside the one person that sang on little pills that ligit helped me threw my dire times and seeing him for the first time ever was a never ever forgettable thing i hope to see you again tech thank you.

    Good songs. Lots of energy. Great performance. Talented!! Caution: Most fans are uneducated highschool drop outs. Nice people but like I said... Uneducated. Lots of tattoos and piercings, fake blood, goth/punk rock style. Nothing to look at...
