About

STAIND IN CONCERT:

With three consecutive No. 1 albums of anthemic nu metal in the '00s, Staind became one of the most successful alt-rock groups of the decade.  Blending muscular guitar shredding and singer Aaron Lewis's emotional, melodic lyrics, the band's impressive live shows span their entire discography, treating fans to studio-perfect renditions of their biggest hits alongside alternative, countrified versions of songs like "Mudshovel."

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Formed in Massachusetts in 1994, Staind started out playing hard rock covers in local clubs before self-releasing their 1996 debut Tormented. While they only pressed four thousand copies, the album garnered enough attention to land them a deal with Flip Records and the production assistance of Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst for their 1999 follow-up Dysfunction. The album received favorable reviews and drew comparisons to nu metal legends like Korn, but its reception paled in comparison to 2001's Break the Cycle, an international No. 1 and multi-platinum smash. The band's next four albums would all land in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200, establishing an impressive catalog of hits and building anticipation for the band's rumored return to the studio in 2014.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Staind was unbelievable. The band sounded amazing. Aaron's voice gives you chills live. They played everything...They even played quite a few new songs which they totally killed on."

"Staind dug deeply into their classics to get the crowd going. Aaron Lewis was great and seemed to be having fun during an audience participation sequence. Staind played every song I wanted to hear plus more so I left very satisfied."

"I expected a top flight show from Staind and got it...they exceeded my expectations. They had a great mix of hard and soft music; all Staind."

  • Aaron Lewis... amazing as always

by JennJennLynn on 2014-05-21Casino Rama - RamaRating: 5 out of 5

Staind was fantastic. Nothing beats the voice of Aaron Lewis. My only complaint was that it was far too short. Approximately an hour and 20 minutes? Was hoping for at least a 2 hour show!!! The ushers were awful. Felt I was being picked on for using my phone to take pics and videos, while people standing at the front were blatantly taking videos and not being bothered. felt jipped when everyone got out of their seats and ran to the front making my 4th row seat feel much further back. View was still good.

Went to see Staind at Casino Rama with my daughter, we loved the show. Great venue, the band was amazing.

  • Staind never disappoints!

by Paularox on 2014-05-20Casino Rama - RamaRating: 5 out of 5

Staind was an opening band that I saw a few years ago that completely blew my mind. They totally outperformed the big name band I was there to see...I did not forget that. When the opportunity came up to see them at an intimate venue like Casino Rama, it was a "no brainer". They were the first band I've seen at that venue...their sound was amazing! Lead singer, Aaron Lewis has one of those incredible voices that "outshines" in a venue like that. Their performance was exceptional!! They engaged the crowd, teased us a little with their popular favourites..it was a great time, a great night of music!! I will definitely see "Staind" again & again.

  • Staind was inspiring

    by REED19 on 2014-05-18Casino Rama - RamaRating: 5 out of 5

Nice mix of chart hits and others only known by true fans and then a few new ones that haven't even been recorded yet. Which is something to look forward to, cause means should be a new cd to buy soon.

  • Loved it!

  • Staind is amazing! Rama - not so much

by scarysherrybear on 2014-05-18Casino Rama - RamaRating: 2 out of 5

I've loved Staind for almost 15 years. Their performance was amazing! Still love every song they played! However, I'll never attend a concert at Casinorama again... felt like a caged animal strapped to my chair... I was very disappointed at this venue. Felt like I was at a Celine Dion concert, everyone confined to their chair, not a lot of standing room. The crowd had no energy. Staind, let me know when u play near Toronto again... somewhere else.

  • Strong!

  • Clark County Fair 2009 was AWESOME!!

by EmmaLouWho on 2009-09-06The Amphitheater at Clark County - RidgefieldRating: 5 out of 5

Clark County Fair was a great set up with camping, a carnival, and daily entertainment. We hit up the fair the day Staind,Chevelle, Halestorm, and Shinedown played. The 14 hour drive to get there was 100 percent worth it. All four bands put on one hell of a show. I would recommend the clark county fair and also any show those bands put on!!
